I always wanted to do an album in the realms of early ambient Cluster, Harmonia, Edgar Froese, Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno and such like. This was my first real serious attempt to do that sort of thing, be melodic whilst also still abstract and spooky. If I remember right all the titles are dedications, most obviously so "Will-O'-The-Wisp" as that is what "Irrlicht" means! For this reissue I added 2 bonus tracks.
